Happy Shrove Tuesday Everyone!!
Here is a quick delicious recipe for protein pancakes for those of you who want to enjoy the day and be healthy at the same time!
What you will need:
2 scoops protein powder (vanilla works best for me)
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup non-fat cottage cheese
4 large egg whites
dash of cinnamon
sugar free mapel syrup
fresh fruit or berries
Put oats, cottage cheese, egg whites, protein powder and cinnamon in blender and Mix until smooth.
Pour the batter into a hot pan and cook on one side
Watch for bubbles to appear and then flip onto other side. Let cook for another minute or 2 and then plate.
Add syrup and fresh fruit to taste.
Above amount should make 6 pancakes
