I will be part of a group cycling from Dublin to Galway on the May Bank Holiday weekend in aid of St. Michael’s House.
Since their foundation in 1955, St. Michael’s House has been a pioneer in the development of community-based services for children and adults with an intellectual disability and their families (www.smh.ie)
We are looking to raise as much money as possible for this organisation and need your help.
The cycle will be over two days as we cycle from Dublin to Athlone before completing the second leg to Galway city. A total of well over 200km will be traveled by all participants who complete the cycle.
You can donate in various ways, the handiest being the mycharity website where I have set up an events page for the cycle, by giving me or any of the participants money for their sponsorship card or by donating on the day of the below events. Any donation no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated.
In addition to this event I will also be doing the entire distance in one go on a spin bike on Tuesday 23rd March in énergie Fitness Rathfarnham. This will take around 7/8 hours to complete so a bit of support and motivation throughout the day would be great!
I will also be running a charity spin class this month where I will be teaching a hour long class in order to raise some more money for the charity. Date: Saturday 20th April
A nominal donation per bike is requested.
